The purpose of the Strathy Hall Homeowners Association is to preserve the quality of the community and to oversee matters of mutual interest to protect the homeowners of Strathy Hall. Since the Strathy Hall Homeowners Association was created, this has and will be the goal of the Homeowner Association Board and Homeowner Association Members.

Home Owner yearly fees
        Your homeowner yearly dues should be paid by April 1

Pool will open 1April 2023
        
Not a HOA member and interested in joining the HOA
   
If you are not an HOA member, live in Strathy Hall II subdivision, you may become a member by paying the $350 yearly HOA fee, signing an affidavit that puts your property under the HOA and paying a onetime $25 county recording fee. This only applies to Strathy Hall II property owners.  The process is simple and the HOA will complete the paper work needed or assist you in completing the paper work.

 The HOA Homeowners meeting was held on 11 September 2022 .  The next homeowners meeting has not been scheduled but should be in April or May of 2023

 



 Strathy Hall Entrance Signage
                Due to the HWY 144 construction the wrought iron and brick column signage at the McCrae Street entrance had to be removed.  The land that these signs set on was purchased by the highway department to widen HWY 144 and for their right-of-way.  The wrought iron sections were saved so they could be reused.  The rebuilding of the signs is in progress, the brickwork is almost done and the wrought iron has been attached to the brick columns. 
                At the Steele Wood Drive entrance there was an entrance sign several years back that was destroyed by a vehicle, and never replaced.   As soon as the McCrae entrance sign is replace,  A plan will be developed to replacing this sign.


Pool Reminders - Just a quick reminder on a couple of pool rules - you must have a pool key and be current on your HOA dues to enter the pool. Also, there is no smoking or bottles allowed in the pool area - if you break the rules you will be asked to leave the pool area and risk having your pool key deactivated. Please remember children 14 and under must have an adult member with them at the pool at all times - if one is not with them - they will be ask to leave. The pool gate must not be opened for anyone who does not have a key or if  theirs doesn't work.  They need to contact Strathy Hall HOA for a replacement, or to pay their yearly fees.  If you see anyone violating these rules - please email us.

HOA Annual Dues - Payment is due on April 1 - if you have not paid your dues by April 15 they will be past due and a $50 late fee will be added.
HOA member annual dues are $350
​For non HOA members who desire a pool only membership, the fee is $400

We will not post on the Strathy Hall NextDoor Page as that is not affiliated with the Strathy Hall HOA. We will only respond via email. Please keep in mind we may not respond immediately but will return your email ASAP.

Water Utility Management Company -

It has come to the attention of the HOA Board that there are questions concerning the charge on our water bills. As stated in the Declaration of Protective Covenants and Restrictions dated June 20, 1989 by William W. Speir and Jesse Brogden, this charge is for the common area maintenance, including street lights. This charge was instated at the time of Strathy Hall 3 and 4 subdivision's development so that all homes share a portion of the upkeep. This charge is then paid to the HOA and the HOA keeps up the common areas.  Please refer to the Declaration Item 22 - Fees for Maintenance of Common Area that you received at closing or that can be found on our website below.
